The worx grate will not cost you any top speed in the calm but will give you heaps better hook-up and drive in the rough and around the track for closed course racing. Similar to the WR221, this grate also has two bars running the full length of the boat that hang down and stop the back of the boat from sliding out, the centre blade of the grate does most of the work in the straights and the side wings come into play in the corners to keep the pump fully loaded and driving. The Work grate gives the pump excellent loading in all water conditions, it will not cost you speed in the calm and make a night and day difference in choppy to rough conditions. Improves hook-up and turning dramatically, it is a great rough water and surf riding intake grate because the pick-up area is wide and deep. It not only loads the pump, but it also allows you to ride hard up to a turn buoy. When you come off the throttle, the grate acts like a brake to slow you into a turn.
