The center foil has three positions or can be removed entirely. In flat water conditions you can raise the center foil to the highest position and gain .5mph. This grate features two bars running the full length of the boat to stop the back of the boat from sliding out, the center blade of the grate does most of the work in the straights and the side wings keep the pump fully loaded and eliminates cavitation.
