Each Monster Impeller wheel will come complete with a sta- tistical data sheet graphing the RPM/boost pressures that the wheel pro- duces, eliminating the mystery behind the supercharger. BALANCING INFORMATION R&D Monster Compressor Wheels for 255 H.P. 4 Tec engines have been precision mass center balanced in the preliminary casting/machining operations process, and precision two plane balanced after the final machining processes. The balance tolerances on the R&D Monster Wheels are held to a much stricter and tighter tolerance over O.E.M. or aftermarket wheels.The R&D precision two plane balanced compressor wheels will perform perfectly and smoothly at 180,000-200,000 rpm’s as the wheels have been blueprinted and balanced to stringent turbocharger specifications, even though the wheel will only spin at 46-48,000 rpm’s in the Rotax engine at 8,000 crankshaft rpm’s. R&D’s higher balancing standards will add significantly to the service life and performance of Rotax’s vulnerable and temperamental clutch system and will significantly increase bearing life, promote better clutch performance, extend clutch life through decreased clutch slippage, and increase horsepower performance.
