The 2013 Hot Products World Finals • October 5-13, 2013 • Lake Havasu City, AZ USA Competitions will begin on October 8 with the Pro Racers assaulting the water on October 12 and 13. As the IJSBA inches closer to the 32nd installment of the best PWC Racing on the planet, we look forward to one of the most important chapters in history. With the help of Hot Products, IJSBA has continued a seventh year of positive growth in the sport. The 2013 Hot Products World Finals will treat spectators and participants to some special features that will challenge the watercraft community’s perceptions of whether the golden years of PWC racing were yesterday or today. More than 400 competitors, from more than 35 nations, will participate in the 2013 Hot Products World Finals aboard Yamaha, Sea-Doo, and Kawasaki watercraft. At the end of the season, the winning racers of the select classes will be crowned the Hot Products Cup Champion for that class. The 2013 Hot Products Cup season will consist only of the events within the 2013 IJSBA Jettribe West Coast Series and end at the last event of the series before the IJSBA World Final Events in October. The first qualifying event was the 2013 IJSBA Jettribe West Coast Series stop in Parker, Arizona on April 20th & 21st, 2013. Hot Product Cup points are awarded to first through third place in each racing class. The Champions of the Hot Products Cup (based on each racing class) will be awarded the entry fee for the 2013 IJSBA Hot Products World Final Event. This entry fee will be for the class of each Hot Products Cup Champion. 2014 Hot Products IJSBA Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 Mile National Team Endurance Race. This will be the 10th Anniversary of this great event. The event is set to launch from Crazy Horse Campground in Lake Havasu City, Arizona in February 2014 (actual event date to be confirmed). The event is sanctioned by the IJSBA, and it is expected to draw a record number of teams from around the globe, as well as all of the top PWC racers from the USA. The race is being held again in the memory of endurance racer Mark Hahn, who was instrumental in providing the momentum to keep endurance racing going strong and growing across the country before his untimely death during a PWC race in 2004. The “Team” format features two riders for runabout (sit down) boat teams and up to three riders for a stand-up craft. Solo riders are also welcome to “Ironman” the race on either style of boat, a real test of endurance and stamina of both the riders and their race craft. 2013 Mark Hahn Havasu 300 Champions: Runabout Champion – Jean Bruno Pastorello and Chris MacClugage (Team) Stand-up Champion - Ryan Decker (Ironman)
