The Hot Products Cup is a season long competition in which racers accumulate points in specific racing classes with in specific Racing Series. At the end of the season, the winning racers of the select classes will be crowned the Hot Products Cup Champion for that class. The 2014 Hot Products Cup season will consist only of select event around the world, check with your race promoter for details. The series must end before the IJSBA World Final Events in October to qualify for the Hot Products Cup Award Program. Hot Product Cup points are awarded to first through third place in each racing class. The Champions of the Hot Products Cup (based on each racing class) awards vary by class and event.The award details will be available thru your racer promoter if the series is included in the 2014 Hot Products Cup Program. To show appreciation to our dealers, vendors and sponsored riders from around the world, Hot Products will have our Hot Products VIP Lounge at the 2014 IJSBA World Finals. This is our opportunity to take time to sitdown and meet in person to discuss business, new products and reflect on the season outside of the busy World Finals Vendor Alley. The 2014 IJSBA World Finals will be held in Lake Havasu City, Arizona USA from October 4th-12th, 2014. Thank you to all of our VIP Lounge sponsors, without their support we would not have such a great VIP Lounge. We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2014 IJSBA World Finals. The Hot Products VIP Lounge will be open on Friday October 10th thru Sunday October 12th. Due to the limited space and availability, VIP Lounge access is by invitation only. This will be the 11th Anniversary of this great event and the goal of Race Promoter and one the events previous Champions Mike Follmer is to increase the race team entries and event sponsorship. Hot Products and Mike Follmer are proud to announce the extension of the title sponsorship of the event for 3 years, this will extend the sponsorship till the 2017 event. This will make the sponsorship a total of 7 years, the longevity of the events sponsorship is a true testament of Mike Follmer, Ross Wallach and Jim Russell’s hard work and professionalism. This event has become a World Class event and is the first race of the year, the manufacturers view this as one of the most prestigious events and at the most recent Kawasaki Dealer meetings in San Diego, the Kawasaki Management reviewed their success to all of the attendants at this event and that they are the reigning overall manufacturer champion. The event is set to launch from Crazy Horse Campground in Lake Havasu City, Arizona in February/March 2015 (actual event date to be confirmed). Each year the race is held in the memory of endurance racer Mark Hahn, who was instrumental in providing the momentum to keep endurance racing going strong and growing across the country before his untimely death during a PWC race in 2004. The “Team” format features two riders for runabout (sit down) boat teams and up to three riders for a stand-up craft. Solo riders are also welcome to “Ironman” the race on either style of boat, a real test of endurance and stamina of both the riders and their race craft. In 2014 an additional award was put in place – The Hot Products Cup was added as an award for the team that wins the event and beats the current overall record time. If the record is not broke the award will roll over till the next year.
