The 550SX hull will not need a conversion bearing, all JS300, JS440 and JS550 models will need the conversion bearing (P/# 550 Bearing) Here is a list of required parts to be used with the kit • 86-95 X2 Driveshaft • 750sx intake grate (stock or aftermarket) • Kawasaki 750-800 pump (750zxi pump cannot be used) • 650sx turn nozzle Lead time on delivery will be about 2-4 weeks. On the 550 (depending on the year) the thrust nozzle is 65mm and the stock steering nozzle is 85mm, 20mm difference! Which is a lot, that’s too much. What we did is make it only 2mm smaller, but with it being 25mm (approx 1”) longer this will help the rider feel the steering without having any sensitive feelings in the steering.
