The Cav-Fighter Sleeve installs between the two stock parts to blueprint a ramp transition from the transom to the pump liner. When water gets pulled into the pump, the water boils (cavitates) as the impellor is only a half inch (.500”) from the square edge. Field testing confirmed by eliminating the square edge the Cav-Fighter Sleeve reduced cavitation on holeshot acceleration and in hard turns. NOTE: Do not use with stock Solas prop Part # YV-CD 13/18. This prop requires setback modifications of .120” to clear sleeve.
